Activities
There is a wide range of outdoor and sporting activities, such as gravel biking, trail running, munro bagging, wild swimming and fishing. We can heartily recommend trips to cultural and historical sites whilst holidaying in this area. You will find a huge variety of places to visit including castles at Stirling and Doune.
For those interested in the world of whisky our nearest distilleries are Glengoyne (the slowest distilled single malt) and Deanston based in a former cotton mill

Food and Drink
We have several great places nearby to eat and drink such as Nick’s at Port of Menteith for a real foodie experience, to the Lion and the Unicorn a traditional family owned country hotel, pub & restaurant.
You can buy Farrah’s Fresh Milk from the local West Boreland Farm at the nearby Smiddy Farm Shop. West Mossside Rare Breed Shetland Beef from the Farm Freezer, or Old Leckie eggs direct from the Farm.
